If putting fig jam, arugula, and goat cheese on a pizza is wrong, we don’t want to be right!

Ingredients

  • Angelic Bakehouse Thin & Crispy Crust
  • As needed – spray pan release
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 oz arugula
  • 1 oz Simply Dressed Balsamic Vinaigrette
  • 2 tbsp Dalmatia Fig Spread
  • 1/4 cup caramelized onions
  • 2 oz goat cheese – crumbled
  • 1 medium sweet onion
  • 2 tbsp butter, unsalted
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Heat a medium skillet over medium high heat and melt the butter
  2. Add the onions and season to taste with salt and pepper
  3. Cook, stirring frequently until tender for about 5 minutes
  4. Lower the heat and continue cooking until caramelized, stirring frequently, about 10 more minutes. Remove from heat and set aside
  5. Pre-heat the grill to 400F
  6. Spray the grill with the pan release and cook the Flatzza Crust without toppings on the grill until golden brown and crispy – about 2 minutes per side, seasoning to taste
  7. Remove crust from the grill and using an offset spatula, spread the fig jam evenly over the crust and cut into pieces
  8. In a mixing bowl, combine the arugula and balsamic vinaigrette and mix well
  9. Top the Flatzza Crust with the salad mixture, crumbled goat cheese, and caramelized onions spread evenly
  10. Serve immediately!
