Easy Chicken Tostadas

A crunchy wrap, creamy refried beans, and a satisfying texture of shredded chicken—tostadas are about delicious, bright flavors. This simple recipe calls for canned beans and a rotisserie chicken, so prep time is minimal! Let's eat! 

Ingredients

  • Angelic Bakehouse Beet Wraps
  • 1 14oz can refried black beans
  • 1 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 lb pre-cooked chicken, shredded
  • 1/2 tbsp ground cumin
  • Sour cream
  • Shredded romaine lettuce
  • 1/2 c crumbled queso fresco
  • 1 red onion, thinly sliced
  • Thinly sliced jalapeños
  • Hot sauce

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400 F
  2. Toast wraps on a baking sheet until crisp, about 15 minutes
  3. In the meantime, heat refried beans in a pan over low heat for 5 minutes. Remove from heat, cover, and set aside
  4. Heat oil in pan over medium heat. Add garlic and cook until fragrant, about 1 minute
  5. Add chicken and cumin to pan. Cook until chicken is heated through, about 5 minutes. Set aside
  6. Spread beans on bottom of tortilla. Top with chicken, sour cream, romaine and queso fresco
  7. Garnish with onion slices, jalapenos, and your favorite hot sauce
  8. Enjoy!
