Making Angelic Bakehouse Crust Crispy

When making pizza at home, the ultimate goal is to achieve the perfect crispy crust. Our sprouted whole grain Thin & Crispy Crust has it all: great texture, amazing tasty ingredients, and the ability to cook to perfection.

A common question we get asked by both pizza crust-cooking veterans and beginners is, “How can I make my pizza crust nice and crispy?”

Well, it’s not as difficult as you may think.

Our favorite method is to toast the Thin and Crispy Crust by itself in the oven for 5-8 minutes (you may also add a bit of olive oil onto the crust to add some extra flavor). Once it is nice and toasted, take the crust out of the oven and load it up with your desired toppings. Toss it back into the oven until the cheese is melted into all the goodies on top! Keep in mind that a thinner layer of toppings (sauce, cheese, etc.) can also help make a crispier crust.

It may simply come down to oven temperatures, as well. Make sure the heat is at least 400° F and fully pre-heated before placing the Thin & Crispy Crust into the oven.
