
Ingredients
- Angelic Bakehouse Whole Grain Take-and-Bake Baguettes
- Minced garlic
- 5 oz goat cheese
- Zest from 1 lemon
- 2 tbsp heavy cream
- Sliced mushrooms
- Fresh thyme
- 1/2 stick unsalted butter
- Pepper and salt to taste
Instructions
- Heat baguette in the oven at 350F for 5-10 minutes depending on slice thickness
- Add goat cheese, lemon zest, and pepper to a small bowl. Stir until mixed
- Add heavy cream until the texture is nice and spreadable. Set aside
- Melt butter in a skillet or a large frying pan on medium-high heat
- And mushrooms and salt to taste
- Sauté mushrooms until they are dark brown - reduce heat and sprinle in thyme
- Before assembly, spread minced garlic onto slices of toasted baguette
- Layer on goat cheese spread and top with cooked mushrooms
