
Ingredients
- Angelic Bakehouse Wheat Bread
- 2 tbsp softened butter
- 4 tbsp basil pesto
- 4 slices of Havarti cheese
- 2/3 cup of chopped artichoke hearts – can be from can or jar, drained
- Pinch of salt
Instructions
- Butter the outsides of bread with butter
- Take your spinach basil pesto and spread on insides of both bread slices
- Add a slice of Havarti cheese on the bottom piece of bread
- Layer on artichoke hearts onto that slice of Havarti cheese
- Top with another slice of Havarti cheese
- Place second piece of bread on top to create a sandwich
- Heat large grill pan or skillet to medium hea
- Add sandwich to pan – butter side down
- Cook for about 5 minutes, or until bread is golden brown and cheese is melted
- Be sure to flip sides!
- Remove from heat and season with salt to taste
