Portobello Mushroom Burger

Ingredients

  • Angelic Bakehouse whole grain hamburger buns
  • 4 portobello mushrooms, stems and grills removed
  • 1/3 c extra-virgin olive oil
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp ground mustard
  • 1 tbsp worcestershire sauce
  • honey mustard
  • tomato slices
  • lettuce
  • sliced red onion

Instructions

  1. Pre-heat oven to 375 degrees F
  2. Whisk olive oil, garlic powder, mustard powder and worcestershire together in a medium bowl
  3. Dip mushroom caps in mixture and place mushrooms stem side down on a baking sheet. Season to taste with salt and pepper
  4. Bake for 20 minutes, until softened
  5. Toast buns and spread with honey mustard. Top with mushroom cap, lettuce, tomato, and red onion. Enjoy!
