
Ingredients
- Angelic Bakehouse whole grain hamburger buns
- 1 tsp vegetable oil
- 1 pork shoulder roast
- 1 c barbeque sauce
- 1/2 c apple cider vinegar
- 1/2 c chicken broth
- 1/4 c light brown sugar
- 1 tbsp yellow mustard
- 1 tablespoon worcestershire sauce
- 1 tbsp chili powder
- 1 large onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, crushed
- 2 tbsp butter
- Red cabbage
- Carrot slaw
Instructions
- Add vegetable oil to a slow cooker
- Add pork, barbeque sauce, apple cider vinegar, chicken broth, brown sugar, mustard, worcestershire sauce, chili powder, onion, and garlic to slow cooker
- Cover slow cooker and cook on high until pork can be shred with a fork. About 5 hours
- Shred pork with a fork. Stir meat into liquid in the slow cooker
- Slice hamburger buns in half. Spread each side with butter and lightly toast on a skillet
- Layer hamburger buns with red cabbage, carrot slaw, and pork
- Serve & enjoy!
