Spicy Turkey Panini

  • Angelic Bakehouse Sprouted Whole Grain 7-Grain Bread
  • 2 tablespoons of mayonnaise (try chipotle!)
  • Hot Pepper Bacon Jam – Terrapin Ridge Farms has an awesome one!
  • Thin apple slices
  • Thinly sliced skinless smoked turkey breast
  • 1 cup of spinach
  • Cheddar cheese slices


  1. Spread chipotle mayonnaise on one side of each 7-Grain bread slice
  2. Top bread slice with spinach, cheddar cheese, turkey breast, and apple slices
  3. Spread Hot Pepper Bacon Jam on the second slice
  4. Top with remaining bread slice – mayonnaise side down
  5. Lightly spray pan with nonstick spray
  6. Set stove on medium-high heat
  7. Place sandwiches in pan – it helps to have a heavy skillet weigh sandwich down
  8. Cook until cheddar cheese is melted and bread is golden brown
  9. Cook 3 minutes on each side
  10. Cut in half – diagonal, of course!
